How to clean/treat the chopping boards?

Don’t soak your cutting board in water or put it in the dishwasher! After you’re done slicing and dicing your meat or veggies, take the cutting board to the sink and wash it down with hot water and soap. Dry it immediately and stand it up so that air can circulate on all sides.

How to get rid of odors from the chopping boards?

Wood surfaces can really hang on to odors, especially if you’re chopping something potent like onions or garlic. Wiping down the cutting board with white vinegar will remove these strong odors. An once it’s dry, white vinegar has very little scent itself.

How to remove stubborn stains from chopping boards?

It’s easy for cutting boards to get little stains here and there it means you’re really using it! Just sprinkle baking soda on the surface of the cutting board, then work it into the surface stains with a lemon or a gentle sponge or wash cloth. Rinse the board and dry it with a towel.

If your cutting boards get a lot of use and a lot of washing, they can start to look dull and dried out. Replenish the wood using mineral oil—just apply a small amount with very slightly damp rag.

All workmanship is guaranteed to be first quality. Should any defects due to faulty workmanship become apparent, we will correct the problem free of charge. The warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, improper use, cleaning agents scratched or damage caused by water, erosion, insects, pets, spiked heel shoes, neglect, misuse, insufficient protection or improper maintenance. Also we cannot guarantee against fading due to sunlight. As time goes by natural exposure to sunlight will slightly change the color of any hardwood product. Since hardwood is a natural product your hardwood boards will continue to shrink and expand and depending on the season, humidity and heating conditions.
